Lots of Learning Happening Here Today!

I cannot believe this is my little boy who not that long ago was afraid to let go of my hand.

And I'm so glad that I let him grow and get comfortable with being independent on his own terms instead of forcing it on him before he was ready.

Clearly, he's reached that stage! (Though I'm not quite sure I'M there!)

I've always believed people when they say the years go by quickly, but I still didn't want them to be true.

I think that's a huge part of why we chose to homeschool. It's THOUDANDS more hours I get with my little boys before they're off living their own adventures with their own families.

I'll be very happy to see them enjoying that stage of life too, but I'm soaking up as much of this stage as I can while it's here ❤️
