Our Dining Room Table is Never Empty

We are never going to have the type of house that could be photographed for a magazine.

It's lived in.

It's used.

It's practical.

And I wouldn't want it any other way.

Unschooling doesn't always mean chaos or disorganization. For us, it just means we kind of go with the flow.

Sometimes we may say no books at the dinner table, and sometimes we understand the draw of a really good book, and support that love of reading.

Sometimes we say we need to clean up before moving on to the next thing, and sometimes we have errands that get in the way, so we leave it for later.

It's what works for us.
